Israel Warns Hamas: Accept Ceasefire or Face Gaza Takeover

Tensions continue to rise in Gaza as Israel warns Hamas to accept the ceasefire proposal or risk losing control over parts of the region. The warning comes directly from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu held a meeting with his ministers and said that Hamas would soon receive another ceasefire proposal. If Hamas refuses again, Israel may move forward with plans to take control of areas in the Gaza Strip.

This follows a similar warning from former U.S. President Donald Trump, who recently accused Hamas of avoiding peace talks. Trump claimed Hamas has no interest in agreements and is pushing the region toward further violence.

Trump stated that if Hamas continues to reject the ceasefire terms, they would face serious consequences. He also said Hamas seems unwilling to make peace and suggested Israel should act more strongly in Gaza.

The ceasefire deal includes a key condition: Hamas must release all Israeli hostages without any preconditions. In return, a temporary ceasefire would begin, potentially reducing the ongoing violence in Gaza.

However, Hamas has rejected this condition. According to reports, they want a permanent ceasefire commitment from Israel before agreeing to release any hostages. They argue that releasing hostages unilaterally would weaken their position.

Hamas also accuses the United States of supporting Israel's military actions. The group believes U.S. support is encouraging Israel to continue its campaign in Gaza, rather than pushing for a peaceful resolution.

As the situation escalates, concerns are growing over what might happen next. Israel’s warning to take over parts of Gaza has added to the fear and uncertainty already present in the region.

The international community continues to urge both sides to reach an agreement and avoid further bloodshed. However, without compromise from both parties, a long-term peace remains out of reach.
