Green HR Foundation has announced a plan to train 5 Thousand professionals across the country to strengthen human resource development and promote sustainable management practices.
The announcement was made on Friday (January 2) during the Foundation’s Family Day Out programme held at a resort in Keraniganj.
The event was moderated by Foundation member Shariful Islam Sohag and attended by professionals from the human resources, corporate and higher education sectors. Among the guests were HR expert Dr Mosharraf Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of Eastern University Prof Dr Farid Sobhani, senior HR professional Nurul Islam, Walton Group Executive Director Zahid Hasan, marine engineer Ferdous, and more than 250 members representing over 250 organizations.
Speaking at the programme, Green HR Foundation President Raoshon Ali Bulbul said the organization has a long-term plan to expand its activities nationwide.
“Within this year, we aim to extend Green HR Foundation’s activities to 20 districts. Alongside this expansion, year-long training programmes, study circles and capacity-building initiatives will be implemented to further enhance the skills of our members,” he said.
Publisher of risingbd S M Zahid Hasan said collective efforts and unity were essential to achieving larger goals, adding that all stakeholders must move forward together.
Eastern University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Farid Sobhani praised the Foundation’s initiatives, saying they were playing a meaningful role in human resource development and sustainable management. He also expressed his willingness to extend institutional support to Green HR Foundation.
HR expert Dr Mosharraf Hossain said Green HR Foundation has been emerging as a strong learning platform through its regular study circles and knowledge-sharing activities.
The day-long programme featured cultural performances, interactive sessions, traditional local games and networking opportunities. Participants expressed optimism about the Foundation’s future initiatives and its contribution to strengthening professional networks.
The overall coordination of this year’s programme was led by Saiful Amin Hasnat.
