Longtime "Summer House" star Amanda Batula will not be returning for the show's upcoming eleventh season, sources have confirmed, following a controversial romance that fractured the cast's dynamics.

Batula, 34, was reportedly not invited back by network executives, who determined that the lack of "organic relationships" with the rest of the cast would not make for an enjoyable summer. A source emphasized that the series relies on authentic connections and a shared sense of fun, and the current situation simply proved incompatible.

The decision comes in the wake of a tumultuous season 10 reunion, during which Batula faced intense scrutiny regarding the timeline of her relationship with fellow cast member West Wilson, 31. Wilson had previously been confirmed as departing the show earlier this month, which a source described as a mutual decision.

Batula and Wilson publicly announced they were dating in March, after initially denying any romantic involvement. The revelation came just two months after Batula and her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, 43, confirmed their separation.

Sources indicate Batula is at peace with the show's decision and is now prioritizing her mental health after a challenging period. "Amanda doesn't feel those are her genuine friendships anymore and wants to focus on her next chapter," an insider shared. Wilson echoed this sentiment, telling The Broadcast Boys in an Instagram recap that despite wanting to address his departure personally, he agreed with the network that it would not "have been a fun summer".

While her future on the potential second season of the spinoff "In the City" remains uncertain, original cast members Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, and Kyle Cooke are reportedly in negotiations to return for season 11.
