Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has broken his silence on his recent imprisonment in Dubai, sharing his reality television aspirations while making it clear that one particular show is off-limits for personal reasons.
The self-proclaimed businessman, who was detained at Al-Awir prison two weeks ago, remains unable to travel to the UK due to ongoing fraud allegations and a travel ban. Despite these legal obstacles, Andrews is not letting his current situation deter him from planning a future in the British entertainment industry.
Andrews has been earning income by selling personalized video messages to fans for £60 each. In his latest clip, he opened up about which reality programs he would like to appear on. "I'd love to be in the [I'm a Celebrity] jungle and eat things and jump off things," he stated, also expressing interest in participating in Celebrity SAS.
However, the 41-year-old drew a firm line at appearing on Big Brother. Drawing from his incarceration experience, he explained: "I'd never do Big Brother because that would feel like jail, trust me I know how that feels". His recent time in Dubai's notorious Al-Awir prison, where he reportedly lost approximately 20 pounds, has clearly left a lasting impression.
During the video, Price, 47, interjected to support her husband's television aspirations, adding: "SAS, he should do". The couple has faced significant upheaval since Andrews failed to appear alongside Price for a scheduled Good Morning Britain interview last month, which initially sparked concern about his whereabouts.
Andrews has consistently denied fraud allegations, insisting instead that he was detained at gunpoint on suspicion of espionage. He now faces a 14-day deadline to clear outstanding debts or risk further legal consequences.
The conversation also turned to Price's former partners. When asked about the possibility of a boxing match against Peter Andre, Alex Reid, or Kieran Hayler, Andrews responded: "With boxing, there's a few things I want to do. Now, whether that involves some of Kate's exes or whether she jumps in the ring and takes on some of mine... trust me, there's plenty of them who need a punch".
Andrews' previous comments about adopting Price's children have also drawn attention. His wish to adopt Harvey, 24, whose father is former footballer Dwight Yorke, was dismissed by Peter Andre, 53, as "yet another lie". Andre shares two children with Price—Junior, 21, and Princess, 19.
Despite the chaos surrounding his legal status and travel restrictions, Andrews remains optimistic about his future. "Let me get to the UK first then we can map out my assault on everything," he said, expressing confidence that he will eventually relocate to Britain with his wife. However, he remains subject to a travel ban that has prevented multiple planned trips to the UK.
