Kansas City: Since the launch of the FIFA World Cup (Fifa World Cup 2026), the Ghana team has been busy with other things than the game. The main reason, Nuno Kuaki Bonsam – who keeps the country engaged with one prophecy after another. Who blocked Harry Kane.

But this bonsom gentleman could not prevent his country's exit from the World Cup. Ghana was eliminated from the World Cup after losing 1-0 to Colombia in the round of 32 match. As the 16th team, Hames reached the last 16 of the World Cup.

Colombia got the first goal of the match. After 14 minutes, John Arias put Colombia ahead with a great goal from Luis Suarez's pass. Since then, Colombia has had several opportunities.

But, every attack was blocked by Lawrence Ziggy. If he doesn't, Colombia will at least win the match 3-0 today. Ghana did not look aggressive from any angle today.

However, Colombia's John Cordoba got injured in the 8th minute of the match. He was replaced by Luis Suarez. Formerly known as Ghana with this name.

Ghana fans may still remember Luis Suarez's handball controversy during the 2010 World Cup match between Uruguay and Ghana. But today there was another Luis Suarez on the field. After the first half ended 1-0, Colombia started a fierce attack in the second half.

Colombia's Luis Diaz scored a goal in the 57th minute, but it was ruled out for offside. However, the Ghanaian goalkeeper made several good saves in the second half as well. Without him, Ghana could have lost by a huge margin today.

However, despite several attempts, Ghana failed to open the scoring. And Ghana was eliminated from the World Cup. With this win, Colombia reached the last 16.

After 2018, Suarez will play the pre-quarter final again.  The match against them is Switzerland. Whoever wins that match will most likely play Argentina if Argentina beat Egypt in the last 16. However, as a result of winning this match, James Rodriguez is confident again.
