Colombia's Luis Diaz scored a goal in the 57th minute, but it was ruled out for offside. However, the Ghanaian goalkeeper made several good saves in the second half as well. Without him, Ghana could have lost by a huge margin today.

However, despite several attempts, Ghana failed to open the scoring. And Ghana was eliminated from the World Cup. With this win, Colombia reached the last 16.

After 2018, Suarez will play the pre-quarter final again.  The match against them is Switzerland. Whoever wins that match will most likely play Argentina if Argentina beat Egypt in the last 16. However, as a result of winning this match, James Rodriguez is confident again.
