Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has revealed the heartfelt yet simple marriage advice that actor Adam Sandler offered to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during their star-studded wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden.
Sandler, who officiated the couple's nuptials on Friday, encouraged the newlyweds to prioritize affection in their daily lives. Reid shared the details during a public appearance on Sunday, offering fans a rare glimpse into the private ceremony.
The advice, according to Reid, was straightforward: keep showing love through small, consistent gestures. "Adam Sandler conducted the service there and he told them to keep kissing," Reid told reporters. "In its simplest form, that's a good thing."

Reid elaborated on the sentiment, emphasizing the power of regular displays of affection in a marriage. "It's hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss," he said. "Make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to. Knock it out, and you won't have any problems."
The wedding, which took place at the iconic New York City venue on July 3, brought together an estimated 1,000 guests from the worlds of entertainment, sports, and music. Among those in attendance were Jennifer Lopez, Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, Steven Spielberg, and Jay-Z. The ceremony was officiated by Sandler, a close friend of the couple.
Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Kelce's brother, retired NFL star Jason Kelce, stood as best man. The couple exchanged vows in front of a guest list that also included Jimmy Fallon and former U.S. soccer star Abby Wambach.
Reid, who has coached Kelce since 2013, praised Sandler's performance as officiant. He noted that the comedian balanced humor with sincerity throughout the service. Reid described Sandler's approach as both "crazy" and "phenomenal," adding that the actor did a "great job in getting them married with a lot of humor."
The wedding marked a milestone for the high-profile couple. Kelce landed a cameo role in Sandler's upcoming "Happy Gilmore" sequel last year and previously invited the comedian onto his "New Heights" podcast alongside his brother Jason in 2024.
Sandler, who has been married to wife Jackie since 2003, is well-qualified to offer marital wisdom. The couple has two daughters together.
Reid's own wife, Tammy, was present during his remarks and confirmed that the Chiefs coach follows Sandler's advice, noting that he frequently gives her kisses. The Reids, who have been married since 1981, also emphasized the importance of communication alongside affection.
