Olivia Rodrigo Announces All-Women Daisy Chain Fields Festival with Star-Studded Lineup

Olivia Rodrigo is launching her own music festival, Daisy Chain Fields, featuring an all-women lineup that includes some of the biggest names in music. The inaugural event will take place on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California .

The festival represents a long-held dream for the 23-year-old Grammy winner, who has been working toward this moment for years . "I've had a dream of doing this festival for years and I am so ecstatic its finally coming true," Rodrigo wrote in her announcement .

A Lineup of Legends and Rising Stars

The Daisy Chain Fields bill is nothing short of extraordinary. Rodrigo will perform alongside Chappell Roan, Doechii, KATSEYE, Mitski, The Breeders, Bikini Kill, Garbage, Die Spitz, Eli, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold, and Not For Radio .

Special guests include rock icon Stevie Nicks, Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O, and Sarah McLachlan, whose groundbreaking Lilith Fair festival from the 1990s directly inspired Rodrigo's vision .

"The lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends," Rodrigo wrote on social media .

Philanthropy at the Heart of the Festival

Every penny of net proceeds from Daisy Chain Fields will support charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls . Partner organizations include Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Baby2Baby, the National Women's Law Center, and the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, among others .

In her mission statement for the festival, Rodrigo emphasized the deeper purpose behind the event. "I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I'm hopeful this festival will be just that," she stated .

The event is being produced by C3 Presents and Live Nation . Fans can sign up for presale access on the festival's website, with tickets going on sale starting June 24 .

Continuing a Legacy of Advocacy

Daisy Chain Fields draws clear inspiration from Lilith Fair, the pioneering all-women festival McLachlan launched in 1997 . Rodrigo appeared in a 2025 documentary about that influential event, which featured artists like Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, and Erykah Badu .

The festival is the latest initiative in Rodrigo's ongoing commitment to supporting women's causes. In 2024, she launched her Fund 4 Good to raise money for reproductive rights, education, and domestic violence prevention . Through proceeds from her Guts World Tour, she donated more than $2 million to charities . In 2025, Planned Parenthood presented her with its Catalyst of Change award .

Riding High on Album Success

The festival announcement comes just 10 days after the release of Rodrigo's third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love . The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, marking her third consecutive album to top the chart .

With its combination of musical excellence and social purpose, Daisy Chain Fields promises to be one of the summer's most meaningful events. As Rodrigo put it, "I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change" .
