Olivia Rodrigo is turning her long-held vision into reality with the announcement of Daisy Chain Fields, an all-women music festival set to take place this summer. The inaugural event will feature a powerhouse lineup, including chart-toppers Chappell Roan and KATSEYE, alongside rock legends Stevie Nicks and Sarah McLachlan as special guests.
The single-day festival is scheduled for August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California. The announcement comes on the heels of Rodrigo's third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, which recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Beyond the music, the event is a philanthropic endeavor, with 100 percent of net proceeds dedicated to charities that support women and girls.
The "drivers license" hitmaker shared her excitement with fans via social media, revealing that the concept for Daisy Chain Fields has been years in the making. “truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all,” she wrote. “i’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!!”
Rodrigo emphasized the mission of the festival goes beyond entertainment. She stated that it is founded on the belief that joy, community, and creativity can inspire meaningful change. The lineup is described as "truly insane" and is filled with her personal heroes and friends, including a nod to the groundbreaking 90s tour, Lilith Fair, which was founded by special guest Sarah McLachlan.
The Daisy Chain Fields roster is a blend of contemporary pop sensations, indie darlings, and iconic rock veterans. The lineup spans two stages and includes performances from Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Garbage, The Breeders, Bikini Kill, and Katseye.
Following the announcement, many of the featured artists took to social media to express their enthusiasm. Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, posted on her Instagram Story, "eeeeee i'm so excited," directly thanking Rodrigo for the opportunity.
The Austin-based rock band Die Spitz shared their honor at being included, writing, "Thank you @oliviarodrigo, we’re stoked to be a part of this benefit festival supporting women + girls." Veteran rock band Garbage also praised Rodrigo as a "remarkable, irrepressible force," invoking the spirit of the festival with a quote from Kathleen Hanna: "Girls to the front."
KATSEYE, who recently made a splash at the 2026 AMAs, also highlighted the benefit aspect of the festival. They are joined on the bill by artists like Rachel Chinouriri, Not for Radio, and Quiet Light. Fans can look forward to the possibility of a special duet between Rodrigo and special guest Stevie Nicks, which the singer teased during a recent interview.
Daisy Chain Fields is structured to be a force for positive social change. All net proceeds will benefit a coalition of non-profit organizations focused on advancing the rights and well-being of women and girls. Partner organizations include Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights, the National Women’s Law Center, and Baby2Baby, among others.
The festival will also feature nonprofit activations and educational resources, allowing attendees to engage with these causes directly. “By bringing together women in music and organizations helping shape a better future for women and girls, I hope we can build a community that inspires hope and positive change,” Rodrigo said in a statement.
The festival is being produced in partnership with C3 Presents and Live Nation. A presale for tickets is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 24, at 10 a.m. PT. Fans interested in attending must sign up via the official Daisy Chain Fields website to receive a presale passcode.
As the summer approaches, Daisy Chain Fields stands as a testament to Rodrigo's growing influence in the music industry and her commitment to using her platform for advocacy, promising a memorable day of music and community in Southern California.
