Less than a month before the first anniversary of Ozzy Osbourne's death, his daughter Kelly has ensured the rock legend's memory remains permanently with her.
The 41-year-old television personality and fashion designer unveiled a new tattoo of her father's iconic round black sunglasses on her upper thigh. She received the ink at a unique pop-up event aboard the London Eye on Thursday, July 2, becoming one of the first people to be tattooed on the iconic observation wheel .
The tribute was inked by artist Miles Langford, founder of The London Social tattoo brand, which hosted the "World's First Rotating Tattoo Studio" event . Photos from the occasion showed Kelly wearing a red and white polka dot dress as she sat within one of the landmark's capsules, getting the design that pays homage to her father's most recognizable trademark .
The sunglasses became synonymous with Osbourne throughout his legendary career, spanning his time as frontman of Black Sabbath and his successful solo years. Kelly expressed her gratitude to the artist, writing on a Polaroid snap: "Thank you! There is no one else I would trust with this" .
The heartfelt gesture comes as the Osbourne family prepares to mark the one-year anniversary of the rock icon's passing. Ozzy Osbourne died at age 76 on July 22, 2025, at Harefield Hospital in the United Kingdom .
His death certificate, signed by his eldest daughter Aimee, listed the cause as cardiac arrest and acute myocardial infarction, with coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction cited as joint contributing factors . The singer had been open about his Parkinson's diagnosis, which he announced in 2020, and had faced numerous health challenges in his later years, including a 2019 fall that required spinal surgery .
Following his death, Ozzy was honored with an emotional funeral procession through his hometown of Birmingham before being laid to rest .
Kelly has been candid about the profound grief she has experienced since losing her father. In the weeks following his passing, she shared on social media that the loss had changed everything, describing it as "the hardest moment of my life" . She wrote that grief "sneaks up on you in waves" and admitted she would "not be ok for a while," while expressing gratitude for the love and support of her family .
The mother of one has continued to honor her father's memory in various ways, including wearing a locket with his picture and lighting a candle for him daily . She also paid tribute at Royal Ascot in June with a bat-shaped fascinator, referencing Ozzy's infamous 1982 incident where he bit the head off a bat thrown on stage during a performance . Most recently, she shared a tearful Father's Day tribute, writing that she still finds herself "looking for you in ordinary moments" .
The new tattoo stands as a lasting tribute to the "Prince of Darkness" and the close bond he shared with his daughter.
