Katie Price Opens Up About Decades of Public Scrutiny in Candid New Documentary

After three decades in the spotlight, Katie Price is finally telling her story on her own terms. The former glamour model, 49, is set to star in a revealing four-part documentary series that promises to go beyond the tabloid headlines that have defined her public image for years. The Sky Original series, created in collaboration with Louis Theroux’s BAFTA-winning production company Mindhouse, is scheduled to premiere on July 8 .

Titled "Katie Price: Nothing to Hide," the series marks her documentary debut and places her alongside stars like Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, and the Beckhams, who have all explored their lives in similar retrospective formats . The archive-led project combines never-before-seen footage with candid testimony from those closest to her, including family members, close friends, and former partners .

Price has stated that her motivation for participating in the project stems from a belief that she has long been misunderstood by the public . “You all think you know about me,” she told HuffPost UK in an interview before the premiere, acknowledging that while the public has seen her grow up in the public eye since the age of 17, there remains much that people do not know .

The star has promised a full accounting of her tumultuous journey, offering viewers a perspective she feels is absent from the many media narratives that have been written about her. She encouraged producers to interview anyone from her past, regardless of how difficult or sensitive the subject matter might be .

The series is set to explore the full spectrum of her life in the spotlight, covering the creation of her media empire, the breakdown of her marriages, and the challenges she has faced with finances and public perception . In a trailer for the series, she acknowledged that she has hurt people deeply and made mistakes, while noting that the experience was emotionally taxing .

Throughout the production, Price has encouraged an unflinching look at her life, stating that she wants to be an "open book" and considered the experience more authentic than her previous reality TV appearances . The series also includes perspectives from contributors including two of her grown-up children, Junior and Princess Andre, as well as former partners .

"Katie Price: Nothing to Hide" premieres on Sky and the streaming service NOW on July 8, offering viewers a chance to see a different side of one of Britain's most enduring media figures .
