Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson brought his family closer than the ocean's tide for the premiere of the live-action Moana in Los Angeles.
The actor stepped onto the red carpet on Tuesday, July 7, accompanied by his three daughters and a host of family members.
The premiere, held at the iconic Hollywood Bowl, became a heartfelt celebration of both the film and Johnson's personal life.
Johnson was joined by his eldest daughter, Simone Alexandra Johnson, 24, who he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia, and his younger daughters Jasmine, 10, and Tiana, 8, with wife Lauren Hashian.
The trio stole the spotlight with their distinct fashion choices. The younger siblings matched in blue dresses adorned with oversized red hibiscus flowers and coordinated hair accessories, perfectly capturing the Pacific Islander aesthetic of the film.
Simone opted for a more mature look, wearing a sleek black midi dress with a slit, paired with black open-toe pumps.
The event was a true family gathering, as Johnson was also joined by his mother, Ata; his wife, Lauren; his ex-wife, Dany; and her husband, Dave Rienzi.
This marks the second time Johnson’s younger daughters have supported him at a Moana premiere. The trio also attended the Moana 2 premiere in November 2024 in Oahu, Hawaii.
Johnson reprises his role as the demigod Maui in the live-action adaptation, a character he famously voiced in the original 2016 animated film and its sequel.
He stars alongside newcomer Catherine Laga'aia, who takes on the titular role of Moana.
The live-action Moana is a visual update of the beloved animated classic. Directed by Thomas Kail, the film follows the same story but utilizes modern special effects to bring the oceanic adventures of Motunui to life.
With a budget estimated between $200 million and $250 million, Disney is banking on the film's spectacular visuals and musical numbers to draw audiences into theaters.
The movie hits theaters worldwide on Friday, July 10.
