Bangladesh’s beloved singer, actor, and television presenter Tahsan Khan has stepped into a brand-new role — the brand ambassador of Walton Lift. For the next one year, Tahsan will be the official face of Walton Lift in all branding and promotional campaigns, adding star power to one of the country’s fastest-growing tech products.

The announcement came during a grand signing ceremony held recently at Walton’s Corporate Office in Dhaka. On behalf of Walton Lift, Bangladesh National Cricket Team’s all-rounder and Walton’s longtime brand ambassador Mehidy Hasan Miraz signed the agreement. The event was also attended by top Walton officials, including Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC Director S M Monjurul Alam, Walton Plaza Managing Director Mohammad Rayhan, and Walton Lift Chief Business Officer Eng. Jenan Ul Islam, among others.

Speaking at the event, S M Monjurul Alam revealed that Walton has already invested more than Tk300 crore in its state-of-the-art lift manufacturing plant. With an annual production capacity of 1,500 units, Walton is producing European-standard lifts at competitive prices.

The facility also features a 4 m/s dedicated testing tower, ensuring every lift meets top safety and performance standards. Walton lifts are already being installed across government and private establishments, with the company now aiming to reduce Bangladesh’s dependency on imports and even tap into global markets.

Alam proudly noted, “We are not only meeting domestic demand but also preparing to export Walton lifts worldwide. Having a renowned figure like Tahsan join this journey makes it even more exciting.”

Sharing his thoughts, Tahsan said, “I’m honored to be part of such a proud Bangladeshi brand. Walton is continuously investing in hi-tech innovations like lifts while creating jobs and boosting the country’s economic growth. I’m happy to contribute to this journey.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who has been with Walton for a decade, expressed his pride: “It’s inspiring to see Walton manufacture world-class lifts right here in Bangladesh. I’m confident that the partnership between Tahsan and Walton Lift will be a successful and lasting one.”

At its Gazipur headquarters, Walton manufactures a wide range of lifts, including passenger lifts, cargo lifts, hydraulic car lifts, hospital lifts, home lifts, and capsule lifts — all designed to meet the needs of modern infrastructure while maintaining international quality standards.

With Tahsan Khan now on board, Walton Lift looks set to reach new heights both at home and abroad.
