Digha: Son-in-law at night. Weekend again on him. And that's why the crowd is overflowing in Digha, Mandarmani.
Currently, Digha is crowded throughout the year. But on special days, the crowd increases a lot. Needless to say that the same film is going to return in Jamai Shashti too.
But to ensure that the tourists are not inconvenienced in any way, special arrangements have been made by the East Medinipur District Police. State Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari held an administrative meeting at Digha Shankarpur Development Board office last Sunday. District administration officers and local public representatives were present in that meeting. Shuvendu said that apart from developing Digha as a high-quality tourist center, special attention should also be paid to security.
That increased the activity of the police. Recently, news of one death after another while taking a bath in Digha has come to the fore. Therefore, the administration is active to prevent any new accidents. On this matter, East Midnipur District Superintendent of Police Angshuman Saha said that the Chief Minister of the state, Subhendu Adhikari, has ordered strict vigilance in Digha.
Jamai Shasthi is right in front, so additional CCTV cameras are being installed along with the deployment of police and civic volunteers from nearby police stations. Strict legal action will be taken against those who disobey the administration guidelines. Meanwhile, considering the tourists coming to Digha, Chief Minister Subhendu has given concessions to qualified tourists. That is, those who came to visit Digha and stayed in hotels in Digha were charged 10 taka per head during the previous government.
But it doesn't have to be paid anymore.
