Jennifer Lopez made an unexpected and thrilling appearance at Prime Video’s 2026 Obsessed Fest on Saturday, June 27, delighting fans with a live performance and a special introduction to the cast of the hit series Off Campus.
The Grammy-nominated superstar took the stage to kick off the festival’s final panel, where she formally introduced the ensemble cast of the hockey romance drama. The group included Antonio Cipriano, Belmont Cameli, Ella Bright, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Josh Heuston, Mika Abdalla, and Stephen Kalyn, alongside creator and showrunner Louisa Levy.
Lopez, who executive produces the series, has been a vocal fan of the show since it prominently featured her 2011 smash single “On the Floor” in a pivotal Halloween episode. In that scene, actress Mika Abdalla’s character pays homage to Lopez by wearing the singer’s iconic green Versace dress from the “On the Floor” music video, a moment that quickly became a fan favorite.
During the event, Lopez treated the live audience to two performances, delivering both her new track “Everything’s Fine (PM)” and the enduring hit “On the Floor.” Her dynamic set brought the crowd to its feet and underscored her deep connection to the series.
Off Campus, based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book series, has become a major success for Prime Video since its debut. The streaming platform reported that the show amassed more than 36 million viewers globally within its first 12 days of release.
That performance places Off Campus as the third-largest series launch in Prime Video’s history over that timeframe, trailing only the epic fantasy The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and the post-apocalyptic drama Fallout.
Lopez’s involvement extends beyond her musical cameo; she has consistently praised the show’s storytelling and its ability to resonate with young audiences. Her surprise appearance at Obsessed Fest not only energized the panel but also reaffirmed the growing cultural footprint of the series.
As Off Campus continues to attract millions of viewers, Lopez’s star power and the show’s loyal fan base suggest the series will remain a key asset for Prime Video in the competitive streaming landscape.
