Katie Price's mother, Amy, has spoken out against the reality TV star, accusing her of monetizing her eldest son, Harvey, shortly after his birth. The criticism comes in the wake of Price's new Sky documentary, "Katie Price: Nothing to Hide," which offers an intimate look into her life and family .
The former glamour model, 48, has been open about her experiences as a single mother to Harvey. She has detailed how his father, former footballer Dwight Yorke, was absent and did not take responsibility for raising him . Harvey was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome and is also blind .
Despite the complexities of Harvey's health challenges, Price decided to return to modelling, photoshoots, and interviews shortly after his birth . This decision has drawn sharp criticism from her mother.

Family and Friends Question Price's Motives
Amy, who would often accompany her daughter on professional shoots, expressed disbelief at the decision to bring Harvey to media appearances. "She went for interviews and she'd take him. I couldn't believe it, really making money out of Harvey," Amy stated. "I really thought that should have been kept private" .
Photographer and family friend Jeanny Savage echoed these concerns, saying she disagreed with how Price "pushed him into the headlines." However, Savage also acknowledged the star's character, noting that "in her way she probably thought she was doing right" .
Price has defended her position, arguing that she has always been transparent about her life. "I've monetized my life from 17. My everything I do has been monetized, so why would it change just because I've had Harvey?" she said. "I'm not going to hide him away. Why? I'm proud that I've got my son" .
Tension and Feuds Addressed in Documentary
In addition to the familial conflict, the documentary also revisits Price's infamous feud with Victoria Beckham and opens up about her past love life . She recalls feeling sidelined during her relationship with Dane Bowers when he worked with Beckham on a track in 2000 .
The four-part Sky Original series will be available on Sky and the streaming service NOW starting July 8 .
