Prince William has joined Travis and Jason Kelce on their hit podcast "New Heights" in a surprise episode released Friday, coinciding with the reported wedding day of the Kansas City Chiefs star and pop icon Taylor Swift.

The Prince of Wales appeared via video link for the special episode, which dropped hours before the couple's anticipated celebration at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Jason Kelce delivered his signature over-the-top introduction, listing William's extensive royal titles before welcoming "His Royal Highness, Prince William."

"That is quite the intro, guys. Amazing," William responded, laughing at the enthusiastic welcome.

During the episode, the Kelce brothers recounted their memorable meeting with William and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, backstage at Swift's Eras Tour concert in London in June 2024.  Travis Kelce admitted the brothers were "so nervous" to meet the future king and the royal family.

"That was honestly one of the coolest moments ever, was meeting you and the little ones that day," Travis told William.

Jason Kelce, who has four daughters himself, called Princess Charlotte "the highlight" of the interaction.  "I have four daughters, and she was great," the retired NFL star said, to which William replied, "Congratulations on four daughters. I don't know how you did that."

The conversation also touched on William's role as President of England's Football Association, where he revealed that his father, King Charles, "hates football."  William discussed England's World Cup prospects and expressed quiet confidence about the team's chances.

According to published reports, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, will not attend the wedding celebration despite their friendly relationship with Swift and Kelce.  Earlier this year, when asked about receiving a wedding invitation, William offered a cryptic "no comment" during a radio interview, adding that he was "hoping, and I'm sure there might be an invitation around, but we'll see."

The couple's wedding festivities at Madison Square Garden have drawn widespread attention, with extensive preparations underway at the iconic venue.  Approximately 1,000 guests are expected to attend the celebration, which follows a rehearsal dinner held Thursday evening.
