Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Rajasthan DGP U.R. Film producer Amit Jani approached Sahu. He alleged that he received death threats over the phone from Pakistan's notorious gangster Shahzad Bhatti.
The producer informed the administration in detail about this through email. In the complaint, Amit Jani claimed that he was threatened because of his upcoming film 'Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy' (Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy). Incidentally, this film is being inspired by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's much-controversial 'blackbuck poaching case'.
Ever since the teaser of the film was released, it has been at the center of major controversy. Not only that, Salman Khan has already approached the Delhi High Court seeking a stay on the release of this film, alleging violation of his 'personality rights'. The court is going to hear the case tomorrow, June 19.
As it is known, the film 'Kaala Hiron: The Battle for Legacy' has the shadow of Salman Khan's decades-long blackbuck case, as well as the passion of the Bishnoi community of Rajasthan involved in wildlife conservation. Besides, the film will also have high-voltage courtroom drama and political tension, according to sources. The death threat came as the legal battle raged over the film.
Recently, the Delhi High Court issued a notice to the makers of the film to temporarily suspend the promotion and release of the film based on Salman Khan's plea. Now, the eyes of the entertainment and political circles are on what the court will decide in the June 19 hearing.
