Indian sailors are stuck in this uncertainty. An atmosphere of fear-uncertainty in the Strait of Hormuz, where 13 Indian ships are stuck. There are 562 Indian sailors on that ship.

It is known that they have been stuck in the Strait of Hormuz for the past 107 days. A citizen, Nishanth Urthanathan, died of illness on board one of the ships stuck in the Strait of Hormuz, the Indian Embassy in Muscat, Oman said in a statement on Sunday. Arrangements are being made to bring his body back to India soon.

It is known that the ship named MT Celestial is currently anchored at Dukam port in Oman. The Indian Embassy is in constant contact with the vessel. Efforts are being made to bring back the body of the deceased Indian national as soon as possible.

According to the Union Ministry of Shipping, at least 13 Indian-flagged ships are stuck in the Strait of Hormuz. There are a total of 562 sailors among them. 329 sailors are stranded west of the Strait of Hormuz, 233 sailors are stranded off the coast of Oman, east of Hormuz.

The conflict between Iran and America started on February 28. Since then, ships from various countries have been stuck in the Strait of Hormuz, as 80 percent of the world's oil and fuel needs are supplied through this route. An Indian-flagged vessel, Virat 1, was attacked on Sunday.

14 Indian sailors were on that ship. Oman authorities have started a search operation to find them.
