New Delhi: The importance of Aadhaar card does not need to be reiterated. Aadhaar card is required for all the necessary activities, from taking advantage of any government scheme to getting admission in schools and colleges, opening a bank account.  However, it is not always possible to carry Aadhaar card in your pocket. All Aadhaar information is contained in this PVC card. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the regulator of Aadhaar, sends these PVC cards to homes at minimal cost. You will not need to go to Aadhaar Enrollment Center for this.

How much does PVC card cost? UIDAI charges only Rs 75 for Aadhaar PVC card. This includes printing, packaging and delivery charges.

The PVC card is delivered to the home address within a few days of application. How to apply online? First visit the official website of UIDAI.

Now choose your preferred language between Hindi, English, Bengali. Now in the third step, click on the PVC card service option on the website. Then enter Aadhaar details ie Aadhaar number.

Complete the verification process by entering the captcha. The OTP will be sent to the phone number registered with the Aadhaar card. Enter that OTP.

Now in next step pay 75 rupees for PVC card. Payment can be made through UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking. Usually the PVC card arrives at home within 5 to 7 days.
