Bankura: Trinamool's Indpur block president and Trinamool's Dapute leader Rezaul Khan has been arrested. Recently, a person named Abdul Rasid Mandal, a resident of Kharpathar village of Indpur block, approached the police against Rezaul. After that, he entered the house and filed a complaint of beating, vandalism, molesting the women of the family and threatening to kill him with a firearm.

Based on that complaint, Indpur police arrested Rezaul Khan. Today, the accused was produced in the Khatra Sub-Divisional Court of Bankura. Ever since the change in the state, one after another Trinamool leaders have been arrested in Bankura district on various charges.

This time Rezaul Khan, one of the prominent leaders of Trinamool's Bankura and Trinamool's Indpur block president, has been added to that list. Village resident Abdul Rashid Mondal said that before the assembly elections, he was accused of several corruption allegations against Trinamool's block president Rezaul. And that's why he has to fall under the wrath of the Trinamool leader.

He further claimed that Rezaul Khan took several miscreants and attacked his house before the election. In addition to widespread vandalism in the house, Abdul Rasid's wife was allegedly molested. Allegedly, they threatened to kill their family at gunpoint.

After receiving the written complaint, Rezaul Khan was arrested by the Indpur police station last night. Police produced the arrested today in the Khatra Sub-Divisional Court.
